A gentle space to breathe when your heart feels heavy

When your world has been shaken by the loss of your baby, even the simple act of breathing can feel heavy. Grief lives in the body as much as in the heart. Embodiment offers a safe and compassionate way to soften the weight you carry, generates your nervous system, and gently reconnect with yourself.

My Message to You

Physically, you may feel nothing but sorrow. Your body heavy with silence, numb to every emotion except grief, anger, heaviness and sorrow. When a flicker of joy slips through, it can bring guilt — as if happiness itself is a betrayal.

You may have tried returning to practices or spaces that once supported you, only to find yourself of wondering if your grief has space there. What you need isn’t a glittery wellness space that suggests you to “feel better”. What you need is grit, a space that can hold the mess, not silence it.

Embodiment offers that kind of space. Not a practice that demands you to move on, but one that gently invites you to feel what’s already there. A way to soften the weight in your body, release emotions you may not even realize you are carrying, and reconnect with yourself and with your baby.

And slowly, breath by breath, you discover:

The H.E.A.R.T. Framework

My 5-step grief framework helps bereaved mothers gently process their pain, reconnect with their bodies, and cultivate emotional resilience, so they can feel safe, strong, and soft enough to grieve fully. A sacred path of healing and carrying love.

  • During pregnancy: the body naturally stores feelings of hope, fear, and expectation.

  • During loss: shock, pain, and helplessness can get frozen in the body’s memory.

  • After loss: grief can feel heavy and overwhelming, sometimes showing up as tension, numbness, or exhaustion

The H.E.A.R.T. Framework is a gentle, step-by-step healing journey designed for mothers navigating baby loss. It combines grief yoga, trauma-sensitive movement, breathwork, somatic practices, experiential art, and rituals to help you move through grief with safety, love, and meaning. This isn’t about “moving on.” It’s about carrying love forward. Transforming your grief into a softer, more connected way of living.

If your heart feels heavy after loss, HeartSpace offers a soft, steady place to land. Through gentle movement and breath, we reconnect with the body, honour what has been lost, and create space for calm and belonging.

Breathwork for Bereaved Mothers

Through connected breath, you’ll be gently guided to release emotions that your body may still be holding, to let grief move instead of staying stuck, and to invite more oxygen and life energy into your whole system. This practice also supports you in reconnecting with yourself.

Moroccan Grief Yoga Retreat
